dehydration

so after a month of nonstop working my body finally broke down and gave up on me. last monday i didn't go to work, not cause there was nothing to do but because i was either in the bathroom or asleep in my bed. after a whole day of this i decided it was about time that i went to the hospital.

turns out i was dehydrated. who knew that being dehydrated would make you go to the bathroom and be feverish and have an achy bod? i thought it was all about being thirsty! so after a couple of hours on an IV i was discharged.

but did i get to rest the following day? NO!!!! still had to get my dizzy ass out of bed and to the office. to supervise the edit of that night's airing. woohoo ang saya saya :-)

i was saying to myself that i would only do the edit and get myself back to bed. wishful thinking on my part. i still had to archive and prepare the PCs for the digitizing and transferring of material so that my SPs could do their work. my PUM was asking me about the edit schedule. my brain shut down at that point, sorry can't help you out. luckily she wasn't at her wits end to do it on her own.

since there wasn't any back up betacam copies of the first three episodes of the show on betacam, i couldn't archive the materials. so guess what? i had to stay for another three hours (give or take) to make betacam copies. by the time i was done i could hear the OBB of the show. it was already airing time - 11pm!!!!! grrr

but i had already told the PUM not to expect me on wednesday. no more, put my foot down. have to rest. but still there were the calls and texts.

GOSH...

everyone is wondering how long we're gonna last. but at least there's more than 10 of us in the team now. but then again there are so many segments to the new show. so it's kinda the same but different. we'll see...
