i've resigned!
so my sched has been crazy coz of work...all my sundays last november were devoted to studio shoots. the rest of the week editing or getting ready for the shoot on sunday. i was not happy!
then i got an offer to do a show...i'd be a segment producer. i guess that's why i've decided to take it. at the office christmas party the President of NMI announced that i was moving on and made a side comment that i'd be welcome back at nmi and that working for GMA7 is better than RPN9. hmm that's not the point!
i took the offer coz
1) i'm gonna be a segment producer for a weekly show. (less work!)
2) i'm gonna get a bit more than what i'm getting now (more money!)
3) it's gonna be creative instead of just bugging people to get their segments done (i'll be creative!)
but don't get me wrong, i love/d working for NMI
1) the people were unbelievably fun and easy to work with
2) i loved being part of the txtube team
3) i actually got a bonus, so christmas is fun ;-)
but i'm glad i made the decision. my PUM asked me what if i was given a counter offer, would i accept it? i said i hope they don't give me one. it's time for me to move on. but i'd like to do freelance stuff for them!
i'll definitely miss the people i've worked with for the past year...
