my mom

okay so my mom and i have always had a love-hate relationship. she's the person i love the most in the world and because of that she can really make me feel so much.

in the past year it's been anger.

but today i sucked it up and asked her out to lunch. i thought it would be awkward but it wasn't! we spent the hour talking and catching up. it was like seeing a good friend for the first time in a long time.

i'm glad i did it. at least things are not so weird anymore. but i wouldn't say everthing is back to normal.

i think i have to handle my mom differently now. maybe act like more of an adult than a child. coz i'd like this "truce" to continue. i like having her in my life...
